The "Rat Pack" to Attend ....
Bring your lawn chair and experience the meaning of our motto, "Educate, Enjoy, Engage."
Keynote Speaker and Cincinnati's own Rocky Boiman will join us as our key-note speaker for our season ending event. Rocky is a night time radio host for 700 WLW and a radio and color commentator for both College and pro football. Rocky, a super-bowl champion, will share with us all he has learned about "Team Building" during the rough and tumble football years and how those same principles work to build positive, successful relationships in all walks of life.
Whether it be friends, family, community, political activities or business Rocky's message will work for all attending. Bring the kids for this special event and Empower them with this important lesson.
Joining Rocky will be 55KRC radio personality Brian Thomas who will serve as master of ceremonies for the night and will help us pass out awards to Empowered citizens. Brian will be joined by other "Rat Pack" members of the gang including City of Cincinnati's Christopher Smitherman who will be discussing the City of Cincinnati and Commissioner Chris Monzel who will discuss the County.
On this very special evening we will celebrate the end of EmpowerU's 11th semester and we will be awarding Empowered Citizen awards. Will You Win?
EmpowerU will be grilling the
burgers and hot dogs
as well as providing water and soft drinks. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share at the potluck table.
We'll have plenty of food so plan on dinner!
There is no charge for this event, but your donation is gratefully accepted as EmpowerU operations rely on your donations. Adult attendees are welcome to BYOB. We look forward to seeing all our friends at this great annual event.
