The Cincinnati Strangler

50 Years ago it happened. The first strangler murder was 12/2/65.....the 7th and final murder was 12/9/66.

A conservative Midwestern city in the 1960s confronts a mysterious serial killer and its own escalating racial turmoil. No, not the latest john Grisham novel-this is the unknown legend of the Cincinnati Strangler.

In 1966 the Queen City was hunting ground for a brutal and elusive slayer who preyed on older women, murdering seven and assaulting many others. Like Boston several years earlier, Cincinnati was in the trail of a ruthless strangler
This plot even had a twist The victims were white, and when police announced the killer was a "Negro", fear and rage held the city in the cruel grip of prejudice and bigotry.

Join Queen City Gothic author J.T. Townsend as he takes a fresh look at the serial killer who stole Cincinnati's innocence...
