Author Jack Kerley's twelve novels have been published in eleven languages and over twenty countries. In 2010, his second book, "The Death Collectors" was named "The Best Foreign Mystery of the Decade" in Japan. His books deal with a range of unsettling topics, from sociopathy to religious mania to human trafficking. Kerley, an avid outdoorsman, lives in Newport and, despite his often-dark topics, collects colorful and whimsical Southern folk art.
