In today's society, with all of the different workout and diet systems available it can become very confusing to know what is healthy for you and what is not. Things that used to be considered easy, such as eating healthy and creating workouts, have become more difficult and discouraging to many people. This EmpowerU class we will show you how to put together a simple, but effective workout that you can do anywhere. After taking you through a workout that will give you the best results with a minimal monetary investment, we'll show you how to supplement your exercise with an effective diet. A healthy diet starts with the basics, such as how to read a food label. Today's food labels appear to look the same as 20 years ago, but if you take a closer look you may be surprised to see that they are very different. We'll educate you on how to look past the surface and truly learn what it is that you are putting in your body, because as Mom always said, ' you are what you eat.
