Praying in Lent:

Evening Prayer on Tuesdays

Tuesdays

On Tuesdays evenings at 6 pm, the community will gather for Evening Prayer in the Chapel. Members of our community will preside at this simple service of prayer. Come and allow the word of God to wash over you, and pray with the assembled community, as our ancestors did before us. Join us on any Tuesday at 6 pm. Mark your calendars for all of the Tuesdays in Lent: February 16th, 23rd, March 1st, 8th, and 15th.

Women's Lenten Bible Study: Looking at Luke

In the weeks of Lent, we will explore the Gospel of Luke together.
We welcome Mother Anne Holt from Calvary Church, Flemington who will be our special guest and introduce us to this wonderful engagement with our sacred text.

Ladies' Luncheon

Grace Soup Kitchen

Friday, February 26th

Grace Soup Kitchen serves 1,000 hot nutritious meals the last five days of each month to the hungry of Plainfield. St. John on the Mountain parishioners help on the last Friday of each month. Join us one Friday as we prepare and serve lunch. The next day scheduled to serve is on Friday, February 26th from 10 am - 1 pm. To sign up, please email Graham Argent-Belcher.

Music in the Somerset Hills

Saturday, February 27th, 8 pm

Magnificent Music in an Elegant Setting

Antioch Ancient and Modern Music in the Somerset Hills is proud to present the Antioch Chamber Ensemble in concert on Saturday, February 27 at 8 PM, at the Episcopal Church of St. John on the Mountain. Antioch is widely regarded as one of the finest professional choral ensembles in the United States. This performance will feature ancient sacred music of Heinrich Schutz and five new works by living composers. Reserve tickets here.
