Annual Fall Concert by St. John's Festival Choir
Saturday, November 7th
The Choir hopes you will join them on Saturday evening, November 7th at 7:00 pm for their annual fall Concert. This year, our Director Richard Morgan will be joined by Organist Joshua Stafford, St. Peter's Church, Morristown and soloists Debbie Smith and Joanne Dadd in a concert especially suited for the season - We Praise Thee! The concert will include Franz Josef Haydn's exciting Te Deum in C Major, written for Marie Thérèse (daughter of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette), Hear My Prayer by Felix Mendelssohn, and Gabriel Fauré's lush setting of the Mass for women's voices Messe Basse. Remember to invite your family and friends! The Concert is only an hour and will be ending about 8:00 PM - plenty of time to take your friends and family out for a celebratory dinner at your favorite local restaurant!

The Outreach Commission has designated November "Food for Fenn" month in honor of its beloved leader, Fenn Putman, who died last summer. Fenn was an inspiration to us all. In recognition of this fine man we propose to flood the Food Bank with "Food for Fenn." We ask all parishioners to step to up their efforts this month and bring donations of food or money to provide for the hungry guests who arrive at the Food Bank in Somerville every Saturday morning. We have even provided commemorative shopping bags to encourage your efforts.
