Fall Fundraiser
Treasures from the Attic: Art & Antiques
From the people who brought you the Mountain Art Show, this year's fall fundraiser will be named Treasures from the Attic: Art & Antiques. The Friday night preview party will include a special event on pearls from jewelry designer Jane Gordon in addition to regular items on sale and a Chinese auction.

Saturday will be a full day event featuring Carolyn Remmey as seen on the Antiques Roadshow, The History Channel and NBC doing a valuation event by reservation. In addition St John's corner will sell Episcopal and St. John on the Mountain specific items. There will also be vendors, crafts and a bake sale.

The art and antiques that are being donated by the congregation will be the primary source of revenue for the Art and Antique sale.  To donate, complete the form.  We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 19 from 10-2 for your donation drop off.
Confirmation Class
Weekly Beginning on Sunday, September 27th
We are excited to begin confirmation preparation with a fantastic group of young people!  Confirmation Class will begin on September 27th at 9 am, and will meet weekly in the lounge on the 2nd floor of the Parish Office building.  Your daughter or son is welcomed and encouraged to participate in this program, even if she or he is uncertain about confirmation at this time.  It's normal and healthy to struggle with belief, and we welcome doubters! For more information or to learn more about the class, please contact Mother Susan or Lynn Mitchell.

Coffee Hour Hosts 2015-2016
Watch in the mail for the 2015-16 Coffee Hour Host schedule.  In an effort to involve all families, Coffee Hour will be assigned to each family one time between the months of September 2015 and June 2016.  If you can't make the Sunday that you're assigned, we kindly ask that you swap with another family. Preparations are minimal and implementation is easy.  We all love Coffee Hour and this vital part of Fellowship.  By having everyone involved, we can all be a positive force for St. Johns!  If you have any questions, please contact the coordinators, Sue Catlett 908-955-7109 and Susan Kennedy 908-234-0267.
