April 2, 3, & 4
The Three Holy Days of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Great Vigil of Easter, are the center of our Christian year and our common life. In these days we fully enter into the Mystery of the Passion, Death, and Glorious Rising of the Lord Jesus, who we know to be among us. The liturgy is so rich that it takes three days to unfold. We invite you to be with us as we celebrate the Paschal Triduum. Please consider honoring us with your presence and sharing with us in the Divine life of the Lord Jesus who has made us his Sacred Body in the world.

Saturdays in April
Volunteers are needed to staff the Food Bank Pantry Saturdays in April from 9:30 am to noon (April 4, 11, 18, 25). Tasks include interviewing clients, and bagging and distributing food. The pantry is located at the rear of the United Reformed Church, 100 West Main Street in Somerville. This is a great opportunity for older children, and community service hours will be given. Support Needed for the St. John NS & SJOTM Fundraiser
|
|
The committee for the 2nd annual St. John's Spring Fundraiser on Saturday, April 18th is planning a wonderful event that will include delicious food, wine, music, silent auction, and raffle items. Please help support this event by attending and contributing silent auction and raffle items. Items can be dropped off in the Parish office. Please include your name, the item's value and any other information you would like to add. Additionally, the committee will gratefully accept monetary donations to underwrite general expenses for the event such as food and beverages. If you would like to make a contribution or have any questions, please email Shellie Iossa or call 908-752-2497. The proceeds from this event will be designated equally to three important causes: the ministry of the parish, the work of the school, and the funding of the Nursery School Scholarship program.
