Healing Service Today

Thursday, January 29th

The Holy Eucharist with Prayers for Healing will take place today at noon in the chapel. This simple service of prayer, Holy Communion, and the laying on of hands for those who desire it, is an extension of the ministry of the Pastoral Care Committee.  All are welcome.

Simple Suppers

The Tradition Continues

Simple Suppers returns to St. John on the Mountain.  For those that are new to the parish, Simple Suppers is a long standing tradition at SJOTM. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and spend time with old ones.  Groups of 10-12 will be formed the week of February 9th. These Simple Suppers need not be only dinner, but can also be brunch, lunch, or cocktails.  Generally, each group meets about twice during the bleak months of February and March.  It's easy to participate.  Sign-up through February 8th by filling out a Simple Suppers form and placing it in the box located in the hallway near Parish Hall or contact the Parish Office 908-766-2282.  Questions?  Contact Sue Catlett or Jane Mercer.

Kids Helping Kids Thank You Notes

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Kids Helping Kids Christmas campaign.  This week, you should have received a personalized letter with a receipt for your donation enclosed.  We want to thank the Rite 13 Class for all their help getting this mailing out to you.   With so many helpers, there is a chance that the dollar figure noted did not correctly reflect the actual donation.  If so, just e-mail Katherine Hermes and let her know and the correction will be made.

Men's Luncheon on Thursday, February 5th

Thursday, February 5th

Please join us on Thursday, February 5th at 12:15 pm at the Morristown Club at 27 Elm Street in Morristown.  The luncheons are open to members of the parish and their guests.  The favor of a reply is requested in order that a place may be reserved for you at the table, but last minute drop-ins are always welcome.  Hope to see you there.  For more information please email Alan Enos or call 908-234-1321.

2015 Stewardship

As of January 21, we have 109 pledges for $325,421. If you have any questions about Stewardship, please contact Jeff McKeon or Bob Courtemanche.

If you haven't already done so, please return your 2015 Pledge Card ASAP, as the Vestry needs them to make their budget decisions for the upcoming year.  Extra  Pledge Cards can be found in the narthex or call the office 908-766-2282 to have one sent to you.
