We will have one service on Sunday, June 23rd at 10 am so we can gather, worship, and celebrate as a united community.  Plan to join us afterwards for coffee hour in Parish Hall

We have been challenged to a friendly competition by some of our neighboring parishes to see who can raise the most food to assist hungry people in our area. 

Hunger Facts & Figures: Housing

• New Jersey is the fourth most expensive rental market in the country, behind only Hawaii, California and New York. 
• In New Jersey, the Fair Market Rent for a two-bedroom apartment is $1,292. In order to afford that rent and utilities - and not pay more than 30% of income on housing - a household needs to earn $4,306 a month ($51,672 a year.) Working 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, that means a housing wage of $24.84 an hour.
• At the minimum wage of $7.25, a renter would have to work 137 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, to make that two-bedroom apartment affordable.

The Food Bank relies heavily on our donations to keep their shelves stocked.  The goal is to get more than 50,000 pounds of food supplies donated and collected during the month of June.  It is a competition where there are no losers.  Everyone wins, especially our neighbors who are hungry!  To participate in the challenge, you can donate money through the parish office (by Wednesday, June 26th), or click here to donate directly through the website (through June 30th).  

Summer Sundays on the Mountain begins Sunday, June 30th 

•  9:30 am Holy Eucharist, Rite II with music in the church

• Professional Nursery Care will be offered beginning at 9:00 am in Room 2 of the lower level

• A simple Lemonade Hour will immediately follow the worship service

Stop by to tidy up the Memorial Garden and surround every Thursday at 4:30 pm.   Giving a little of your time by sweeping, weeding, and such will help to keep this lovely area at its best.  Refreshments provided. For school-aged kids, Community Service hours will be given.

Beginning Sunday, June 30th there will be a Lemonade Hour, immediately following the 9:30 am service.  Hosts are needed.  It's easy; all you need to bring is a small treat as the lemonade is provided by the church.  A sign-up sheet is located on the bulletin board outside of Parish Hall.  Weather permitting, Lemonade Hour will take place outside in the front courtyard.  

Children ages 3 - rising third graders are invited to join us at the Everywhere Fun Fair:  Where God's World Comes Together this summer from 9:30am-12pm on July 15-19th.  We will be learning, creating, and having fun!
