Ferrum College's 2014 Alpha Chi induction, held March 16, celebrated the addition of
39 new members, the largest group in the history of the College's chapter of the national honor society. Alpha Chi recognizes the top ten percent of students scholastically at over 300 colleges and universities in the U.S. Avery Ardis and Paige Redifer, 2013 inductees, helped President Jennifer Braaten and Alpha Chi advisor Katherine Grimes induct the students. Dr. Grimes also read a sermon that her father, the late Rev. Van D. Grimes, preached at Catawba College in 1989. Jan Nicholson, dean of the chapel, gave the invocation. Congratulations to our new Alpha Chi members!
