Greetings!
This Saturday, we are holding our first ever "Celebrating Our Founders Day" in conjunction with our annual Stop Hunger Now effort. More than 300 volunteers, including students, faculty, staff and other members of the community, will come together for a day that will begin with a service of worship and song at 9 a.m. in Vaughn Chapel, led by our new Dean of the Chapel, Dr. Jan Nicholson. Next, the volunteers will gather at the campus YMCA from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with a goal to package 50,000 meals to help feed the hungry. After the meal packaging, everyone is invited to an informal "Soup Supper" to be served in the Blue Ridge Mountain Room in Franklin Hall. If you would like to support this event with a donation, visit the Stop Hunger Now web site here and following the instructions. Learn more here.
