Read on for more details about both events!

BRASS 5, one of America's most successful educational ensembles, will bring holiday cheer to the Ferrum College campus with their performance of "A Toast to Christmas" on Sat., Dec. 7. Patrons may enjoy dinner at 6 p.m. followed by the show for $42 or just the show at 7:30 p.m. for $20.  Tickets may be ordered online at  www.blueridgeperformingarts.com or by calling (540) 230-6600.

Ferrum College's annual Christmas Concert will be held on Mon., Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in Vaughn Chapel on campus. A musical welcome to the Christmas season, the evening will begin with well-known holiday music, followed by music from beloved Christmas films like "It's a Wonderful Life" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The last section of music will focus upon the true meaning of Christmas.

This year's Christmas Concert will feature the talents of students in various music ensembles including the Concert Choir, under the direction of Ashley Cundiff and accompanied by Jeanne Banks; the Collegiates, directed and accompanied by Susan Spataro; and the Handbell Choir, also under Spataro's direction.

"There is music in this program to satisfy all ages and tastes. It is our wish to fill hearts with the joy of Christmas," said Spataro, Ferrum College assistant professor of music and music program coordinator.

The program is free and open to the community. Donations of non-perishable food items for the St. James Food Bank will be welcomed.

Thank You Ferrum College Family...

When you make a gift to the College you help ensure that generations of Panthers will continue to obtain a great Ferrum College foundation for life.
