With the arrival of the holiday season we reflect on the past year and on those who have helped Ferrum College truly "Celebrate a Century." We extend a heartfelt thank you to you and wish you the very best in the coming New Year.
We hope you will join us for two special holiday events in December. The first - the Ferrum College Christmas Concert - will be held in Vaughn Chapel at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 6. Please join us for music and meditations on the Christmas Story presented by Campus Ministries.

Jim Wade's Keynote Address
Jim Wade, Advance Auto Parts board of directors member and past president, will serve as Ferrum College's next Executive in Residence today. In addition to sharing his career experiences with students in a number of classes, Wade will give a keynote address to which the public is invited in the Blue Ridge Mountain Room in Franklin Hall at 11:15 a.m. Read more about here.

Ferrum College to Commemorate 50th Anniversary of President
John F. Kennedy's Assassination
A morning reflection and an evening memorial service open to the community are planned Thurs., Nov. 21.
Ferrum College will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the November 22, 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy with two events open to the community on Thurs., Nov. 21. The first, "The Ferrum College Community Reflects," will take place outdoors from 10:45 a.m. to 11:05 a.m. at Hart International Plaza on campus. That evening, a memorial service will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Vaughn Chapel. Learn more here.

Ferrum College & Danville Community College Sign Articulation Agreement
Ferrum College President Jennifer Braaten and Danville Community College (DCC) President Bruce Scism recently signed an Agreement of Articulation to facilitate the transfer of students in DCC's Administration of Justice curriculum to Ferrum College's Criminal Justice B.S./B.A. degree program.
