CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
October 4 - 6, 2013

Only once in 100 years will there be four days of so much fun! 

Something for Panthers of every age and interest! 
 
This is the perfect time for you and your family to be on campus ... take a tour of recent renovations; enjoy the great outdoors - run, hike, or canoe! If indoor happenings suit you better - visit a gallery, an exhibit or share a meal and catch up with former classmates and professors. No matter what you choose to do - join old friends or meet new ones - you don't want to miss this party of a lifetime!

The Centennial Festival Hart Plaza
This is the celebration you don't want to miss!
4:00-9:00pm

Open to all students, parents, alumni, friends, former faculty and staff plus Ferrum community members. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy live music, a real southern-style BBQ picnic, all sorts of family festival entertainment then settle in for the parade, concert and fireworks! Adults $10; Children 6-12 $7; Children 5 and under - FREE; Ferrum College students, faculty and staff must show College ID for FREE ticket.

  • 4:00-4:45 pm Two Old Geezers (Acoustic gypsy jazz and Appalachian tunes with National Flatpicking Champion Scott Fore)
  • 5:00-5:45 pm Kerosene Willy (Blues and vintage rock band)   
  • 6:00-6:45 pm Josh Vietti (Hip-hop violinist)
  • 7:00-7:45 pm 14-Karat Gold Band
  • 7:45-8:15 pm Fireworks by Pyrotecnico
  • 8:15-9:00 pm The Tams

The finale for the Centennial Festival will include a special performance by the renowned TAMS and an exciting fireworks exhibition over Adams Lake. Get there early to make sure your chairs and blankets are situated for the best views of the music and the lake!
