Ferrum College now has a newly-renovated wrestling facility, which is located in the Norton Field House adjacent to the Hank Norton Athletic Center.

Ferrum announced in June 2012 that it would start a collegiate wrestling program. Nate Yetzer was introduced as the College's Head Wrestling Coach at a press conference July 6. Yetzer successfully recruited 15 student-athletes to wrestle at Ferrum between July 6 and August 30, and another three transferred to Ferrum in January.
