Members Gain Service Skills While Serving at Culver's
The members of the Boys & Girls Club's Menomonie Center had the opportunity to experience being an employee at Culver's restaurant! Ten members from the Club joined the Culver's staff for the day, serving a dish of free custard to customers who chose to make a donation to the Boys & Girls Club. At Culver's, members were given a tour of the restaurant, learned about food storage, cooking, and even had the chance to run the cash register. Culver's employees gave members valuable experience to learn lifelong skills including future career opportunities, customer service skills, cash handling skills, and food sanitation and safety knowledge. Many members explained after the event that when they get older, they would love to become a Culver's employee! Thank you to Menomonie Culver's and the Culver's employees for their generosity in mentoring our members on this special day and to the community for the continued support of the Boys & Girls Club.

Lemonade Day Success

The Boys & Girls Club would like to thank all the wonderful sponsors that made Lemonade Day possible and the Menomonie community for the overwhelming support! Club members learned how to create a business and marketing plan, how to exhibit great customer service skills, and how much fun it can be to operate a small business.

Thank You Lemonade Day Sponsors

Member of the Month

We are excited to announce the member of the month: Isabelle K!  Isabelle was chosen to represent the Club as the member of the month because she shows great character and citizenship and she and always puts in extra effort during programming. Isabelle is 10 years old and when she grows up she would like to become a doctor. Her favorite program is SMART Gamesroom because she enjoys playing board games with her friends. Some of Isabelle's hobbies include bowling, dancing, and basketball.  Isabelle's favorite memory at the Boys & Girls Club is when Gary from Culver's brought custard to the Club.
