Where to Celebrate Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day 2014 Dining Guide
Jaltemba Bay Life Team
Valentines Day

Love is in the air with Valentine's Day being less two weeks away. Here in Mexico, it is often referred to as "El Día del Amor y la Amistad," because both love and friendship are celebrated on this day.

Several local restaurants are offering special menus and/or live music, so why not impress your valentine or dear friend by making reservations to surprise him or her... after all, a romantic dinner is the perfect way to say "I love you" or "I really care" -- of course a nice bottle of wine, a bouquet of flowers or a box of chocolate wouldn't be a bad idea either.

PV Sleep Well: Sleep Apnea and
Heart Disease
by Rhnee Mohan
PV Sleep Well

Sleep apnea and its main symptom -- loud snoring -- have long been viewed as an annoyance. Just ask someone who has to share a room with a loud snorer if sleep apnea is a problem. But there's growing evidence that sleep apnea isn't just annoying; it can be bad for your heart, too. Untreated sleep apnea is one risk factor for heart disease. Heart disease is the leading cause

of death in America. Sleep apnea increases the risk of irregular heart rate, coronary heart disease, heart attacks and congestive heart disease.

Gema and Books on Wheels

Her name is Gema (pronounced Hemma). If you drop the 'a' from her name, you have a pretty accurate description of what she's like. She is indeed a 'gem' and a one woman wonder. Born in Guadalajara, she married Jack, her Canadian husband in 1994. Over her 30 years in teaching, she taught mostly elementary...  Read More

With perspiration dripping from our brows...  Read More

Holly Trujillo Quad Adventure
As the swirls of dust cling to your clothes, and dirt crusts your skin, the beautiful sights of the off-road experience hold you captive. Fields of pineapple, corn, various vegetables you pass, as you travel through the valleys.
