Wednesday, December 12 Dia de la Virgen de Guadalupe (Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe)
The most important religious holiday in Mexico honors the day the Virgin Guadalupe made her miraculous appearance to a peasant in Mexico, and is celebrated with special masses and processions. There will be special masses on December 11 at both churches in La Peņita and Rincón de Guayabitos.
