President's Letter
Greetings to all! The year is up and running. Thanks for your participation in filling out the merger survey, supplying feedback and attending the Town Hall meetings. I am pleased to announce the merger was confirmed for the East and South Des Moines Chambers of Commerce. Over the next few months, our combined chambers will be working together on the final merger details. We will be unveiling a new logo, website design and more.
Over the past weekend we held our third poker tournament at Copper Creek Golf Course. We had a great turn out with over 60 people in attendance. Thanks to all who participated and congratulations to the top eight winners.
Don't forget to sign up for our Annual Dinner on February 23rd. We will be awarding the Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year and will present the Jim Goodman Entrepreneurial Award. We hope that you can attend and help honor the recipients.
Thanks for your continued support of the chamber!
