We had a great time at the Annual Partnership Night at the Cubs the night of June 27. If you don't remember that date, it was the hottest day of the year! If anyone thought that moving the Chamber night up into the month of June was going to get up cooler temperatures, they were surely wrong this year. And even though it was hot, those of us that were working the serving line had a great time that evening. As in the past, your chamber donated buns for the event.

There are three ribbon cutting events during July listed to the right of this message.  We would like to remind everyone that we encourage participation in these events. It is a great way to show support for our new members plus it presents additional networking opportunities for us all. If you can make one, two or all events, we encourage you to do so.

Don't forget that Thursday, the 12th, is our annual golf tournament. This year it's being held at Echo Valley Country Club. This is an event sponsored by all four Des Moines Chambers and is always a fun time. If you are a golfer, there is still time to register for this event.
