Maryland Late Renewal/Reinstatement Period:
January 1 - January 30, 2013
Act Now
You are receiving this notice because a  Maryland mortgage license renewal request has not yet been submitted.

The annual renewal period for Maryland mortgage lenders and mortgage loan originators ended December 31, 2012. However, Maryland will accept late renewal requests which are submitted through NMLS until January 30, 2013.

Late renewal requests will not be accepted after January 30, 2013, and licensees who have not submitted a renewal request by January 30, 2013 will have the license status changed to "Terminated-Expired."

After January 30, 2013, previously licensed persons who wish to conduct Maryland mortgage business, must submit a new license request through NMLS and obtain an approval.

Please log in to your account on the NMLS to either submit your renewal request by January 30, 2013 or notify this Agency that you do not intend to renew your license by marking the license as "Do Not Renew."  Please review the Renewal Handbook for Companies and the Renewal Handbook for Individuals on the Annual Renewal Page of the NMLS Resource Center  for assistance with either process.
