With the change in weather comes the start of "season", including the many programs and events listed below. There is considerable gratitude shared in this issue. First, to our outstanding Board of Directors who work diligently to advance our mission and bring their abiding commitment to all that we do. Without them, WE CAN couldn't... We also want to acknowledge the important support we have received over the years from Rabideau Media Group and wish both Liz and Mike Rabideau success in their next endeavors; read more about them, below, in the A Company that Cares article.
We are delighted to welcome Karen Ryan as our new part-time, Special Projects Coordinator. Karen comes to WE CAN with extensive experience working in other organizations in New Hampshire, Vermont and most recently on the Cape. She has already begun to take on important projects at WE CAN and is a wonderful addition to our small staff team.
We offer a special thanks to those of you who have recently stepped up as WE CAN Champions. You are making a significant difference to us with predictable, monthly income. We thank you!

As you can see by my attire, it is now riding season and our Last Gasp Team has started to train. Consider joining us as a rider, sponsor, or fan!
With thanks,
Andi Genser
Executive Director

How WE CAN Helps ...

A thirty-something woman from the Lower Cape . . .
. . . walked into WE CAN noticeably very discouraged. She had just had surgery and walked slowly and unsteadily with a cane. Out of work due to her surgery, she had exhausted all ...
A few months ago, a middle-aged woman from the Mid-Cape . . .
. . . came in for a Work Support 1:1 session with a Work Support volunteer facilitator who has expertise in small business start-ups. The participant had an idea for a gourmet food product and needed guidance ...
Although life had taught this too-young-to-retire, woman from the mid-Cape that she would never achieve what she envisioned for herself . . .
. . . she decided to give WE CAN a try. Through her one-to-one work support sessions, she found ... read more.

A Company that Cares ~ Rabideau Media Group
 |
Liz & Mike Rabideau
|
It is with extreme gratitude and appreciation that we honor Rabideau Media Group (RMG) for their many years of endless support to WE CAN. WE CAN has been fortunate to have been chosen as the ongoing beneficiary of Girls' Night Out (co-sponsored by Puritan Cape Cod) which has expanded our visibility and has raised funds on our behalf.
In addition, RMG has been a media sponsor of our June A Day of Words, Wit and Wisdom for the past 3 years, providing articles, full-page ads and other in-kind support. Liz Rabideau has also been personally engaged as a mentor in our PathMakers Program, a Last Gasp rider and a presenter at several programs.
We thank both Liz and Mike Rabideau for their important support and wish them well in their next endeavor!
