The State Finals begin this Friday! We are excited that 1,940 have registered for the state finals. It will be a fantastic week of competition and time spent with old and new friends.

Staff and volunteers are on site in Williamson County busily preparing.  It is sometimes difficult to keep up with phone calls and e-mails, so if a response is not timely, please know that we are doing the best we can.

A NEWSLETTER was e-mailed to you in May with an abundance of information, a general schedule, and directions. If you have misplaced your copy please click this link:

Our WEBSITE contains a PAGE PER SPORT. Please click this link and then select your sport. http://www.tnseniorolympics.com/sports.html
You will find:
An athlete list per sport and age group
Brackets or starting times for age groups
Team rosters and team player letters

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

CHECK-IN QUESTIONS - BATTLE GROUND ACADEMY

 1) Do I have to check-in at Battle Ground Academy?  Yes. See exceptions above.

2)   Must I check-in before my event starts?
No.  However, you must check-in sometime before you leave town or your results will be nullified. This protects the integrity of our event.

3) Can someone bring my packet and T-shirt to my venue?
No. With over 1,900 athletes in multiple events and over 10 venues this is an impossibility for staff and volunteers to manage. Thank you for your understanding.

4) Can someone else register for me?
Unfortunately, not. We need to check the ID of the actual athlete to make sure it is the same person.

VENUE REMINDERS

The following venues are different from last year. Each address is included in the newsletter link above:

Track and Field will be held at Brentwood High School. The BGA track is being resurfaced and considered a construction zone. Athletes are not allowed to go practice or warm-up at the BGA track.

Horseshoes will be held outdoors at the Franklin Recreation Center. Academy Park needed that space for a parking lot that is  currently under construction. Please follow the signs to the new pits upon arrival.

Shuffleboard and Table Tennis . For those of you with sports still at Academy Park, please know that parking is limited. A memo will be sent to you soon with additional information.

Archery is BACK at the Ag Expo. Originally, we had to move our event for another tournament but the tournament did not make.

Pickleball will be played at Ravenwood High School, Franklin High School, and the Franklin Recreation Center. A memo was recently sent to all pickleball players regarding the addition of a third venue. It is posted on the pickleball page on our website.  http://tnseniorolympics.com/pickleball.html
