Dear Senior Olympics Golfer,

 

Congratulations on registering for the Tennessee Senior Olympics State Finals.Our golf championship is scheduled for June 13th and 14th, 2016 in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. One hundred and forty golfers have registered.

We are so excited to be partnering with the TN Golf Association, Heatherhurst Golf Club, and the City of Crossville.  In particular, many thanks are extended to Matt Vanderpool, Jeremy Jones, Jeff Houston, and Billy Loggins for their support and hard work.

A confirmation will be sent soon to all 1,900 athletes from all sports.  However, we wanted to send additional detailed information out to golfers.

Once you receive your final confirmation, if you find a mistake in age please e-mail us immediately at info@tnseniorolympics.com   We prefer

changes by e-mail as to have a record in writing.  If you do not have access to e-mail you may also call us at (615) 200-8760.

 

All corrections must be received by Friday, May 20th so that foursomes can be created.

Time:   8am shotgun start

Format:  36 hole tournament/scratch. Golfers are divided into five year age groups 50-54, 55-59. 60-64 etc.

Awards:   Medals will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in each age group.

Nationals:   First place finishers and those who shoot a minimum performance score will qualify for the 2017 National Senior Olympics slated for June 2017 in Birmingham, AL. The minimum performance score is calculated on an 18 -hole round. Therefore, either day of play may count toward this score.

Dress Code:   Collared shirt

Tees:  The course had to meet certain slope and yardage requirements for Nationals.
