Dear Softball Players:

The Tennessee Senior Olympics softball tournament is approaching rapidly! Games are scheduled for Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th.

This e-mail is to let you know that brackets and a draft containing all team rosters have been posted at http://www.tnseniorolympics.com/softball.html

All games will be played at Fieldstone Farms for men and Fly Park for women. Directions and addresses were included in the newsletter e- mailed to you previously.  A copy is posted on our website at http://1001.nccdn.net//000/000/1a1/e5a/2015-TSO-Athlete-Newsletter-Web-v8.pdf

Please review your roster carefully. If you have a correction, please e-mail info@tnseniorolympics.com by June 12. Corrections will be compiled and a FINAL set of rosters will be posted by June 17. We do not upload changes daily.

We would like to hold TEAM CAPTAINS' MEETING at the following times:

Fieldstone Farms Park (Men)                       Fly Park (Women)

Friday, June 19 at 4:00 pm                            Friday, June 19 at 4:30 pm

At this time we will review rules, procedures, rain plans, and answer any questions.   If you or a team representative cannot make it, please check in upon arrival with the sports chair for any information you may have missed.

All players may check-in at the softball fields to receive registration packets and T-shirts.   We will be pulling these packets to transport to the softball fields so they will not be at BGA. Registration will be set-up one hour prior to games. In addition, ALL players are required to show identification (proof of age) at registration.

The Tennessee Senior Olympics rulebook is posted on our website under the softball tab where your brackets are located.  Softball rules will be played in accordance with ASA except for the modifications listed under Senior Olympics rules. Both men's and women's games this year will follow NSGA rules and limit runs to 5 per inning with unlimited runs the last inning.

If the weather looks threatening please call 615-200-8760 or check our website at www.tnseniorolympics.com for updates. Even if the sun comes out after a rain storm the fields may be unplayable.   These are not our fields and we rely on the City of Franklin and Williamson County Parks and Recreation to make these decisions.

We look forward to seeing you in Franklin. For questions please write info@tnseniorolympics.com or call 615-200-8760.

Sincerely,

TSO Staff
