Dear Golfers,

We are thrilled that you have registered for the Greater Nashville Senior Olympics golf tournament at the Hermitage.

As a reminder, the tournament will be held on Tuesday, October 29^th with an 8:00 am shotgun start. This includes the greens fee, cart, range balls, and a boxed lunch.  

Registration will be set up at 7:00am and the driving range will be open.

We will play on the General's Retreat.The General's Retreat at the Hermitage received the coveted Four Star Rating from Golf Digest, the highest rating in Tennessee, and has been home of the LPGA Sara Lee Classic in the past.  

This is a scratch tournament where women will play from the orange tees, men 75+ from the green tees, and men 50-74 from the white tees.

In the event that the course is closed due to inclement weather, it will be rescheduled. The golf course will need to analyze open tournament slots and all golfers will be notified as to the new date. Unless the weather is very threatening with lightning or torrential downpours we plan to play. Please call the course at 847-4001 to check for changes in the event of this type of weather.

The Hermitage is located at 3939 Old Hickory Blvd, Old Hickory TN 37138. Directions are listed below. In the newsletter mailed previously, directions from I-24 (Murfreesboro) included a route on Briley Parkway and Lebanon Road. This will also get you to the Hermitage but the directions below are a bit more direct.

Coming from Nashville

Take I-40 East toward Knoxville

At exit 221A, take ramp right for TN-45 North - Old Hickory Blvd. (coming from the east take exit 221B) toward The Hermitage

Bear onto TN-45 N / Old Hickory Blvd

Stay on Old Hickory Blvd for approximately 4.5 miles.

Turn left into the Hermitage Golf Course
