Dear Softball Team Captain,

The Tennessee Senior Olympics softball tournament is approaching rapidly!
Games are scheduled for Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd.

This letter is to let you know that brackets and a draft containing all team
rosters are posted at www.tnseniorolympics.com. Click here to view this
information: http://www.tnseniorolympics.com/sport_info_57.html or run your
cursor over the "state finals" tab and click sports info to find these items.

With team numbers down due to the non-qualifying year, we had field space
available to play practice or pool games and then a double elimination for most
age groups. We want to make sure you play as much as possible. Please note
all of these games on your schedule. All games will be played at Fieldstone
Farms for men and Fly Park for women. Directions were included in the
newsletter mailed to you previously.

Please review your roster carefully. If you have a correction, please e-mail
tnsrgames@charter.net by June 11. Corrections will be compiled and a FINAL
set of rosters will be posted by June 19. We do not upload changes daily.

We would like to hold a TEAM CAPTAINS' MEETING at the following
times:
Fieldstone Farms Park (Men)                     Fly Park (Women)
Friday, June 21 at 3:00 pm                           Friday, June 21st at 4:00 pm

At this time we will review rules, procedures, rain plans, and answer any
questions. If you or a team representative cannot make it, please check in
upon arrival with the sports chair for any information you may have missed.

All players may check-in at the softball fields to receive registration
packets and T-shirts. We will be pulling these packets to transport to the
softball fields so they will not be at BGA. Registration will be set-up one hour
prior to games. In addition, ALL players are required to show
identification (proof of age) at registration.

The Tennessee Senior Olympics rulebook is posted on our website under "state
finals" and "rules". Softball rules will be played in accordance with ASA
except for the modifications listed under Senior Olympics rules.

After last year we are certain that rain will stay away! However, if the weather
looks threatening please call 615-200-8760 or check our website at
www.tnseniorolympics.com for updates. Even if the sun comes out after a rain
storm the fields may be unplayable. These are not our fields and we rely on
the City of Franklin and Williamson County Parks and Recreation to make this
decision.
