Starting, Maintaining & Improving your own Practice CLE
Join us for one or both parts of a CLE devoted to covering all you'll need to know to start your own solo or small practice, run it effectively and grow your business.

Whether you are thinking of starting your own law office or looking to improve on an existing one this CLE is for you.

In addition to great content, they'll be networking over food and drinks at this program along with half an ethics credit at each session.

Beyond the content summarized below our panelists will also provide their personal perspectives concerning how, why, when they decided to go out on our own, how they have managed to "start up" & how they have kept their "doors" open.

Day 1 of the program will cover areas such as developing your professional identity, starting and managing your physical/virtual office, the ins & outs of retainer agreements, and best practices with respect to billing, fee arrangements and professional insurance.

Day 2 will focus on technology & infrastructure for your practice (from computer systems to tech support), the latest in software for contact management, billing, calendar scheduling & beyond. Discussion will also include advertising, marketing & branding your practice, including developing your web presence and using social media and traditional networking & advertising to drive your practice. On each day, the panel will review many of the ethical issues frequently encountered by solo practitioners & small law firms.
