Family:  I have one daughter, Kasey who is attending KCTCS, freshman year and one son Robby who is employed by Ceva Logistics.
  
How long have you lived in Shelby County?  19 Years
 
One word that describes you:  Passionate
  
Hobbies:  Traveling to watch my nephew that was drafted in 2012 by the Washington Nationals to play baseball, family gatherings and baking.
  
Organizations you donate your time to:  Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association, International Institute of Municipal Clerks, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Assisting other cities across the state and Simpsonville Parks and Recreation.
  
What are you reading?  I just finished Unwise Passions a book about early politics and leadership and currently reading, We Band of Angels another book about nurses in the Vietnam War and their adversity and leadership.
  
What is your favorite thing about Shelby County?   The smart growth the county has experienced over the past few years while maintaining the bedroom community feel.  And, who doesn't love our Annual Horseshow and the week long events each year.     

What is your favorite program of the Chamber and why?  Taste & Tunes, it's a great community social event.  It also provides an opportunity for community food vendors and instructors to showcase their many talents. 
  
What do you see as the Chamber's role in the business community?   The Chamber is an avenue to promote our bsinesses and keep Shelby County dollars in Shelby County.
  
Why do you serve on the Board of Directors?  Being a member of Chamber's Board of Directors is a great way to be involved in our community and keep up-to-date about issues that affect our community.
