As we kick off a new year for the Chamber, we want to share more information about our Board of Directors with our membership.  Once a month you will receive an email highlighting one of our directors.  We hope you will get to know us better and expand your connections with the Chamber and the business community.

Family:  Married to Julie for 20 years.  3 children, Jordan, Taylor and Hannah

  

How long have you lived in Shelby County?  Except for some years during and after college, all of my life.

One word that describes you:  Competitive

  

Hobbies:  Coaching youth sports, golf, anything outdoors.

  

Organizations you donate your time to:  United Way, youth sports and Simpsonville Baptist Church

  

What is your favorite thing about Shelby County?   The people.  There are many great people in this community.  Many I have known all my life but many I have gotten to know as they have moved here.  It's a wonderful place to grow up and raise a family.     

What is your favorite program of the Chamber and why?  Taste & Tunes.  The weather is usually nice, everyone is in a festive mood, and you get to partake in great food! 

  

What do you see as the Chamber's role in the business community?   To give business owners exposure, to provide a network of business owners to each other for support, knowledge and ideas as well as being an advocate for Shelby County businesses.

Why do you serve on the Board of Directors?  To give back to a community that has been so good to me and my family.
