Greetings!
One of my favorite models for performance or quality improvement is the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) model. Within this model, improvement teams identify a problem, create an Aim statement, decide on action steps to address the problem, gather baseline data, implement the change and reassess. The process steps continue until change is sustained.
This model can easily be transferred to the individual for our own change performance. By adding intentional self-monitoring and self-awareness, we can identify a potential problem or constraint that may be holding us back, create a personal aim statement, identify a course of action, and determine personal measures to determine if our action steps created change(s) of improvement.
Just for Today, ask yourself:
How do I generate intentional and conscious self-monitoring?
What are my resources for indentifying my areas for improvement?
How can I take feedback and create my own PIP?
Best wishes as you create intentional self-awareness and personal improvement!
Lisa
