NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR PICTURE DAY:
Whole school picture day is September 15th and we are looking for 2-4 parent volunteers.  If you are able to volunteer, you can receive a free picture packet.  I am looking for 2 volunteers from 8:00-11:30 and then 11:30-3:00.  Please email Sheree Boothby atshereeboothby@visioncsd.org if you are able to volunteer.  Thank you!
PICTURE DAY:
All school picture day is next Thursday, September 15th. Your child may wear whatever they wish on picture day, at no cost, as long as it abides by our modesty and dress code guidelines. The dress code guidelines can be found on our website at 
visioncharter.net. Please call the school if you have any clarifying questions. If you would like to pre-order picture packets online, please go to mylifetouch.com and enter picture day ID #ID116783Y0.  Picture packets are also available in either office. Thank you!
BEFORE SCHOOL SUPERVISION:
Reminder about dropping students off in the morning: Breakfast is not served until 7:45 and we do not have any staff supervision of any kind until 7:45. Students will not be admitted into any of the buildings if they are dropped off prior to 7:45. Thank you!
FREE AFTERSCHOOL ROBOTICS CAMP FOR 2ND -4TH GRADERS:
Where:  The VCS Gym   When: September 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 1 hour after school (3:30­-4:30) 
Parents can check out what the kids have done on September 22, 4:30 to 5:15. We will take up to 30 2nd - 4th graders-first come first serve!

SCHOLARSHIPS:
Please email Ms. Dowski at marydowski@visioncsd.org for the Vision Scholarship form for students enrolled in CWI on-campus or online classes and IDLA dual credit classes that have expenses for textbooks, online fees, lab fees, or other supplies required for class enrollment. This scholarship is for additional fees that the students' Fast Forward funds will not cover. Students may apply for VCS scholarship funds by SEPTEMBER 30, 2016 for the fall semester. This scholarship will be available again in the spring.

CO-ED FLAG FOOTBALL:
Oct 17-Nov 18   7-12th Flag Football will be coached by Mr. Kurt Scheffler. Mr. Scheffler has coached for years with varying grade levels and abilities. Practices will be 4 days a week from 3:30-5 p.m. at Vision Charter School on the field. Interested students pick up an application from the secondary office or email Mr. Scheffler at kurtscheffler@visioncsd.org.  Students participating in flag football will need to provide their own mouth guard, water bottle, and football cleats (no metal cleats). A $10 fee is required to pay for team shirts.

Come cheer on the largest swim team in Canyon County! Go VISION Charter School Swim Team! This Saturday, September 16th at 9 a.m. the Vision Charter School Swim Team will be competing at the Nampa Rec Center.
