HIGH SCHOOL SWIM TEAM:

6TH-8TH GRADE AFTER SCHOOL STEM CLUB:
This program will provide an opportunity for students who are not involved in another STEM program at Vision Charter School to be exposed to STEM careers, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts. Students will explore these concepts under the guidance of Mr. Casey Boothby on Thursdays school is in session starting August 25th and extending through December 15th from 3:30 - 4:30 in the Technology Lab. A $20 fee is required which will cover a club shirt and materials. As usual, if fees are prohibitive, please contact Mrs. OldenKamp at wendyoldenkamp@visioncsd.org.  Forms are located in the secondary office. **This program is open to the first 20 students with fees paid and parent signature returned to the secondary office.

CO-ED INTERMURAL CROSS COUNTRY:  Aug 22-Oct. 5th    7th -12th Intramural Cross Country Practices will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30-5.  Students will need to provide their own running gear and water bottle.  Registration forms and the $10 fee most be turned in prior to a student participating. The first practice will be August 22nd from 3:30-5. Students will meet in room 109.
CO-ED CHEER TEAM:
Aug  23- Nov 5    7th-12th Cheer Team will be coached by Rickie Wilson. The team will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 starting August 23rd. Registration forms and fees must be submitted prior to attending the first practice.

CO-ED FLAG FOOTBALL:
Oct 17-Nov 18   7-12th Flag Football will be coached by Mr. Kurt Scheffler. Mr. Scheffler has coached for years with varying grade levels and abilities. Practices will be 4 days a week from 3:30-5 p.m. at Vision Charter School on the field. Interested students pick up an application from the secondary office or email Mr. Scheffler at kurtscheffler@visioncsd.org.  Students participating in flag football will need to provide their own mouth guard, water bottle, and football cleats (no metal cleats). A $10 fee is required to pay for team shirts.
 

CO-ED SKI/SNOW TEAM:

HS DRAMA:
Drama is returning for its eighth season with a fall performance transporting us to Narnia!  Practices for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" will be Tuesdays 3:30-5:30 until our performance weekend October 28th and 29th.  

MS DRAMA:
Middle school drama meets during lunch on Mondays in room 111 with Mrs. Mitchell. The first meeting will be Monday, September 12th. 

BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AFTER SCHOOL SNACK:
Breakfast will be available every school day starting at 7:45.  Breakfast will be free to all students who are approved for free or reduced lunches; full-price breakfasts will be available for $1.80.  Pre-ordering will not be required for breakfast service.  After school snacks will be available free of charge to all students involved in after school clubs and tutoring; sports programs do not qualify for the after school snack program. The regular price for student lunch is $3.15, reduced price lunches are $0.40.   Adult lunches are available for $3.65.  Lunches must be pre-ordered through orderlunches.com. Free and reduced lunch applications are available on the school website.
