PT CONFERENCES:

Scheduled appointments will be from 3:30-7 on Thursday, November 5th.  DROP IN conferences will be held on Friday, November 6th from 3:30-7.  Mr. Ellis is available for conferences by appointment.  Please contact him through school email or phone to set up a conference if desired.

The VCS High School Drama Troupe presents Game of Tiaras.

This satire takes the classic Disney Princesses and mixes them with the popular TV show, Game of Thrones.   It is a tale of what happens when the aging king of a magical kingdom decides to split his empire between his three daughters: Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles a hugely-successful-recently-copyrighted-character).   Soon, terrible tragedy ensues - a terrible, hilarious tragedy. Combining the gut-wrenching plot twists of the popular television series, and the gut-wrenching despair of a Shakespearean tragedy, this adaption of King Lear will leave you dying of laughter.

There will be two performances on Saturday, November 14th 2:00 and 7:00.
Tickets prices:
$5 for individuals; $10 for families

CANNED FOOD DRIVE SCHOOL WIDE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT:
The 2015 VCS Canned Food Drive will take place from November 9-18. The Food Drive will be a campus wide, K- 12 effort. Elementary Classes (Grades K-5) are being asked to collect nonperishable food items. These must be manufacturer canned or boxed foods. We cannot accept any home canned, home baked, opened, or expired items. Each donated item will count as a point for the student's classroom. A party will be awarded to the K-2 grade class with the most points and the 3-5th grade class with the most points. Student Government is asking that each classroom teacher keep track of their class points. The VCS Middle School and High School Advisories will each be adopting a family and collecting donated items to complete special Thanksgiving Holiday Baskets.
