WASHINGTON DC TRIP:
There will be a meeting on Monday, August 31st at 6 p.m. for all students and parents in grades 9-12 interested in the March 2016 trip to Washington, D.C. A representative from the tour organization, Close Up, will be attending to give more details and answer any outstanding questions. All trip participants are strongly encouraged to attend. You do not have to be committing to the trip to attend. This is an information session. The next meeting will not occur until after the new year.
MUSICAL THEATRE:
Musical theatre is still accepting new participants. The next practice will be Monday, August 31 after school and will include auditions for roles in the performance of Fiddler on the Roof.
MS DRAMA:
Seventh and eighth grade students are invited to join MS Drama. The first meeting will be Monday, September 14th in room 111 with Mrs. Mitchell.
OCTOBER BOOK:
The School-wide book for October will be the Jungle Book. All costumes must tie to the Jungle Book. Classroom celebrations on October 29th will be based on celebrating the Jungle Book.
PICTURE DAY:
Picture Day is September 10th for the entire school.  Picture packets have been sent home already.  If you would prefer to order ahead of time, please go to mylifetouch.com, enter the picture day ID:  ID115783Y0.  We need 3 or 4 parent volunteers to help on picture day with one time slot from 8:00-11:00 and then from 11:00-2:00.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Sheree Boothby at shereeboothby@visioncsd.org or call at 208-455-9220 ext. 310.  Volunteers will receive a free picture packet.

TEACHER VIDEOS:
Please go to visioncharter.net to view teacher informational videos.  Go to the home page, click on "About", then click "teachers and staff" on the left hand navigation, click on the teacher's name to have the informational video appear. Click on the video to learn about classroom expectations and how to help your child be successful!
