7th-12th GRADE 2015-2016 SCHEDULES:
Schedules will be mailed home in report cards. If you have questions or concerns about your child's schedule after reviewing it, please email Ms. Dowski at
marydowski@visioncsd.org.  She will return to work the first week of August and will be able to work on any scheduling issues at that time

UNIFORM EXCHANGE:
There will be a school uniform clothing exchange held in the gym on Friday, August 7th from 9:00-3:00.  We will be collecting gently used polos and pants (that fit our dress code as outlined in our handbook) starting August 3rd.  We will also be exchanging gently worn shoes. For every item of clothing or pair of shoes you bring in, you would receive that same number of tickets to exchange for the same quantity of items.

If you would like to volunteer to help organize this event, you will be entitled to 4 items of clothing per donated hour.  Please contact Sheree Knapp atshereeknapp@visioncsd.org or 455-9220 ext. 310 if you are interested in volunteering.

HS YEARBOOK UPDATE:

The last day of school has come and gone. No, your yearbook orders have not been forgotten. The yearbook staff wanted to make this year's book a better representation of the ENTIRE year, so we moved the publication date back to accommodate this. The book will now include key events like prom and graduation. This will result in our yearbook being delivered this summer. Stay tuned to the VCS newsletter for delivery updates. Parents can double check that your contact information is updated with the school. Have a great summer!  -Mr. Boothby, Mrs. Mitchell & Yearbook Staff

PLANNING VACATIONS:

Please make every effort to plan vacations and appointments for time that is scheduled off during the 2015-2016 school year. Please take a close look at next year's calendar. Students have every other Friday off! We are hoping that this will significantly decrease students missing pivotal learning occurring in the classroom. Please note that we have a nice four day break September 4- 7th with no school. In addition, we have September 18th and October 2nd with no school. A great time to look at taking a family vacation will be our Fall break the week of October 12-16th. If you plan this just right, you can get out of town from October 10th - 18th without the kids missing any school! Another great time to sneak away is Thanksgiving break from Nov 23 -28 and students start back to school on November 30. Don't forget everyone's favorite time to take a winter break is from December 21-Jan 1 Christmas Break. Student's last day before Christmas break is December 18th and they start back to school on January 4th.
