FLL Robotics teams receive two awards at State Championships!

Both VCS teams won awards in the area of Core Values. We are very proud of the hard work and great attitudes that went into this accomplishment. A special thank you to the coaches and mentors that made it possible: Wendy OldenKamp, Nivy Snow (Techno Troopers) Jamie Warr, Michael Samuelson, Owen Newton (Gravity Bots).

VCS's FLL team, Techno Troopers, won the "Gracious Professionalism" award. This award recognizes a team whose members show each other and other teams respect at all times. They recognize that both friendly competition and mutual gain are possible, on and off the playing field.

VCS's FLL team, Gravity Bots, won the "Inspiration" award. This award celebrates a team that is empowered by their FLL experience and displays extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit.

Read more about these awards on the FLL website at: http://www.firstlegoleague.org/event/judging.
