SOCIOLOGY:

Congratulations to Mr. Leavell! He was just approved to teach Dual Credit Sociology for BSU at Vision Charter School next year! This course will be offered as a year long high school class. Students will also be able to earn college credits through the completion of this course. Way to go, Mr. Leavell!

PET DRIVE:

The VCS Student Government is putting on a school-wide Pet Drive! All items donated will be turned over to the Canyon County Animal Shelter. We will be accepting donations of dog and cat food, toys, and old blankets for the needy pets to use in the cold. Any old, unused blankets or comforters would be appreciated. The CCAS has over 200 animals, and each one needs food, shelter, comfort, and love. In the end, we would like to gather a total of 200 toys, 30 bags of food, and 100 blankets school wide. The Secondary Campus's goal has been set at 100 dollars donation, 30 bags of dog food, 50 blankets, and 100 toys.  To help you in donating, VCS Student Leadership members will be available in the mornings at the parent drop off line, as well as the buses. There are collection bins in each MS and HS advisory. Though supplies are greatly needed and appreciated, we will not be accepting actual pets as donations. The advisory that collects the most supplies on the Secondary Campus will receive popsicles all around.
