Greetings!

EARLY RELEASE HAS ENDED FOR THE YEAR: Please pick students up at the regular time for the remainder of the year.

May 16th from 5-7 p.m. is our sixth annual Elementary Science Fair/Math Carnival/ PFA Auction.

The PFA would appreciate any donations for the silent auction. This is a great way to help raise money for the new school reader board! The PFA has a goal of contributing $5000 to the reader board by the end of the year. Please help us make this happen!  This is a fabulous way to get inexpensive advertising for your business. We will put a thank you with your contact information on our facebook and website to all who contribute to the PFA Silent Auction. We are happy to take monetary contributions in addition to physical donations.   You may drop items off at the front office with your business card on the item and specifically note if it is for the silent auction.  You may also contact Niki Anderson at themandersons@juno.com or Kim Boguslawski heykimmer@hotmail.com with additional questions.

PFA Themed Classroom Basket Items are due to each teacher by Thursday, May 2nd.  Please contact your teacher or look at their blog if you are not aware of needed items or your child's classroom basket theme. Please contact your child's advisory teacher for information about the themed baskets in grades 7-12.
PFA SPONSORED FRIDAY SNACK SHACK DATES:  May 3, May 17

GRADUATION Information:  Graduation will be held Friday, May 24th at the Nampa Civic Center at 7 p.m. The practice will be held at Nampa Civic Center at 10 a.m. on May 24th.

ALL NIGHT GRAD PARTY:

The first Vision Charter High School graduating class is on its final stretch to Pomp and Circumstance! The class of 2013 is planning an after graduation party to have one last opportunity to enjoy spending time together as a class. They are in need of donations to make this night amazing! Please consider donating items that could be useful in a dorm or apartment living situation: microwave, mini fridge, Scentsy burners, coffee pot, hot pot, lamps, DVD player, iPods, X-long twin sheets, and other living essentials. Also, a monetary gift would be welcomed by the planning committee to help make this party memorable for the students. Anything and everything helps! We are able to provide a receipt for tax purposes as well. Contact Mrs. Lair (erinlair@visioncsd.org) or Shelly Riley (sr2769@msn.com) with questions.  All businesses and individuals who donate will also receive a thank you in the website and facebook with their contact information. This is a great way to advertise your business!

OPEN YOUR HOME.  OPEN YOUR WORLD.

Share the American way of life with an enthusiastic exchange student, and expose yourself or your own children to international cultures. If Vision Charter School refers a family to me they earn a $250 scholarship/referral fee.

EF is the leader in high school exchange, bringing more students to the US than any other exchange organization. EF Foundation offers unparalleled support to all program participants. Locally, I would be the primary support for you, the students and the school. In addition, we have 10 other support staff locally and a full-time staff is available at our Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With strong international relationships, EF Foundation is able to be in immediate contact with family members abroad.  Hosting an exchange student offers a profound experience that does more than change your world view. It changes your life - forever.

I look forward to sharing this exciting opportunity with you and your family.
Let me know as soon as possible if you are interested.

Sincerely,
Teresa Wilkins
