CONFERENCES:
Kindergarten through fourth grade teachers have scheduled parent teacher conferences based on academic and/or behavioral concerns only. Scheduled conference times are on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. and Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 4-8. Teachers will communicate directly with parents regarding scheduled conference times.
5th and 6th grade teachers will have drop in conferences from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Scheduled conferences will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 4-8.
7th-8th grade teachers will have drop in conferences Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. and Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6:30-8 in building M4. Scheduled conferences will be held from 3-5 on Wednesday, March 20th and 4-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21.
9th -12th grade students will be drop in conferences only from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 and 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013. All secondary conferences will be held in M4. Parents are encouraged to bring their child to these conferences. All staff will be available to meet with during these conferences.
Mrs. Ellis will be available for drop-in conferences between 4 and 8 on Wednesday, March 13 and 3:00 and 6:45 on March 14. If you are unavailable during this time and would like a conference, please contact her to arrange a time.

EARLY RELEASE CONTINUES ON WEDNESDAYS! K-12th grade students will be released every Wednesday one hour earlier than usual. Release time is 2:10 p.m. every Wednesday. Our last Early Release day is Wednesday, April 3rd.

School Closure Procedures:
IN THE EVENT OF SCHOOL CLOSURE OR EMERGENCY CLOSURE: The most accurate updated information can be found on our Facebook page and our website at visioncharterschool.net. We will send out news via this newsletter. You may also check updates on Channel 2, 12, 6, and 7. I strongly encourage all parents to sign up for our newsletter via the website. This is the only way to receive the newsletters. This will give you the most up to date information at all times.

State Fair:
5th Grade State Fair will be held Wednesday, March 20th from 1-2:30 and from 3-6:30 p.m.

GRADUATION Information:
Jostens has created a special website www.idahoringman.com to make it as easy as possible for any seniors that still need to order graduation items, including the mascot package, cap and gown unit, or a class ring. Jostens contact numbers: 343-0175 (Janice office) or 869-9401 (Garth's cell). Graduation will be held Friday, May 24th at the Nampa Civic Center at 7 p.m. The practice will be held the morning of the May 24th. More details will be sent out as they are confirmed.

PERFORMANCES:
VCS Drama's production of "Pride and Prejudice" will be April 10, 2013 at The Nampa Civic Center.
Musical Theatre's production of "Seussical the Musical" will be at the Civic Center on April 16th starting at 7:00p.m. FREE admission; however, donations will be gratefully accepted!
Guitar Performance April 19, 2013 at The Flying M in Nampa.
