ROI is shorthand for Return on Investment.  Business strategists are focused on ROI, whether long term or short term.  Monique Daily is an example of a fabulous ROI, short term and long. Monique came to Wears Valley Ranch when she was 14 years old.  She was carrying tremendous pain and insecurity but had enormous potential and soon began to respond to this loving environment with hard work and hope.  During her first year she earned a trip to Florida by memorizing the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5-7, all three chapters.  On that trip, she shared her doubts about whether she was really saved.  As we looked at the Scriptures together, there were several passages that were helpful.  But, God met her in a powerful way as she read Titus 3:3-8 aloud.  Joyfully, she trusted His promises and surrendered her life to Jesus now and for eternity.

After graduating from St. Andrew's School at the Ranch, Monique enrolled at Union University where she majored in psychology.  Graduating this spring, she was led by the Lord to return to the Ranch and help us offer the same opportunity to other children that God gave her in this place.  Watching her tutoring our current students is thrilling. She knows where they are coming from. She has a credibility that is undeniable. And she knows the One Who changes lives personally!  When children are hurting, Monique is able to introduce them to the One Who calmed her fears, forgave her sins and gave her the confidence to face the future with joy!

When you invest in the children at Wears Valley Ranch, you are investing in eternity.  Jesus promises to repay what is done for the least of His brothers and sisters.  Not all of the children do as well as Monique, but she is a testimony to God's faithfulness.  Please help us as we head into the last quarter of this year to finish well.  Prayerfully consider what God would have you do, and then obey His leading with gladness.
