Summer Fun!

A wonderful summer is coming to an end.

We had more professions of faith at Camp Arrowwood than ever before.

At the end of August, we had our week of staff training here at the Ranch. This is more than dispensing information. It is a time of corporate worship, morale building, and relationship deepening. We treasure this time together-- and we needed it.

So much of what we do and how we do it is about building relationships. Children come to us having experienced pain and trauma of various kinds. For many, it is difficult to learn to trust again. Thank God we see His love break through again and again as our dedicated caregivers consistently point them to the One Who is always trustworthy.

Camp Recap

Our 16th summer at Camp Arrowwood has come to an end.

For our campers, a week filled with whitewater tubing, horseback riding, zip-lining, making new friends, and learning about Jesus will be remembered as one of the best and most pivotal moments of their lives

Volunteer Families
Blessing and Being Blessed

"What can I do to help?" is a question we encourage all of our children to ask regularly. It is a question we often hear from adults.

Praying and giving are much needed, but there is yet another practical way that God may be calling you to serve: become a volunteer family.

As a volunteer respite family, we get a wonderful opportunity to participate in God's amazing work with children from the ranch. We benefit in relationship, humility, and love. There are new places to learn, love, and laugh. Our lives have been positively impacted with the children and we look forward to each visit.  --Mark, Jackie, Ella Pearl (13 years old), and Elijah (11 years old)

On October 10, the Ranch will be hosting a dinner specifically for those who are (or are interested in becoming) volunteer families. Space is limited, but we'd love to have you as our guest.
