Thank You for Another Great Year
It has been my privilege to be able to work each and every day with such an outstanding group of students, staff, and parents this year. PHS continues to exhibit excellence and tradition on a yearly basis. I am so proud of the Class of 2015. They have set an exemplary standard for future classes including almost 75% graduating with honors, over 50% graduating with at least a 5.0 GPA, and being offered $20.7 million in scholarship money. Not to mention some awesome athletic, fine arts, and community service accomplishments along the way. I am looking for future classes to reach those standards and beyond.
I am truly honored to be the principal of a school entrenched in academic and athletic greatness. I want to thank the parents for entrusting your child's education to us, both in the classroom and on the playing field. I want to thank my students who inspire me every day and are a joy to interact with on a daily basis. Finally, I want to thank my teachers and staff. Our staff truly cares about our students and works diligently to instill a sense of teamwork and pride in each of them. I am humbled to lead such a tremendous group of passionate educators who strive to give our students the best possible education and experience. The life lessons learned at PHS are essential to our students being positive and productive members in our community. I look forward to seeing everybody in August for another outstanding year. Have a wonderful and safe summer. Rob Nelson |
