National Merit Scholar
Semifinalists The Tampa Bay Times reports that Hillsborough County leads the state in National Merit Scholar semifinalists with 67 recipients. Fewer than one percent of the nation's students achieve this distinction, which is based on grades, SAT scores and endorsements from school officials. We are excited to announce the names of Plant's semifinalists:
- Donovan Berry
- Jackson Hill
- Cameron McKenzie
- Jenna McKinney
- John Prokop
- Katherine Whitson
We would also like to commend our National Hispanic Recognition Program award recipients:
- Ashley Morales-Pacheco
- Melissa Jassir
Congratulations students! The Plant community is very proud of you.
