It's the Weekly What? for Friday, March 1st
Hooray! It's Friday again!
Okay, first we want to give you plenty of warning to turn down your computer's speaker: one of the links below features some pretty loud dramatic music and we don't want you triggering a "prairie dog" reaction among your cubicle mates, making them pop-up from their cubes trying to figure out where all the dramatic-ness is coming from. So go hit the break room and snag one of whatever freebie a kind co-worker has brought in to share and then come back here and postpone your workday for another 15 minutes or so. While you're busy goofing off, head over to our Facebook page and answer this week's question! "What's a food that you hate?"
We'll never look at a stray thread the same way again...
Japanese artist Takahiro Iwasaki creates amazing teensy-tiny sculptures out of rolls of duct tape, bits of lint, and toothbrush bristles. (No, not all mixed together. Separately. Jeez!) Next time you're criticized for just dumping your bath towels on the floor you can claim you're building an art installation. It's not dirty laundry! It's art! >>
Here's something for the obsessive-compulsive among you...
Is it wrong that we could stare at these neatly organized groupings of bric-a-brac (and backpacks and what-have-you) for hours? This is better than that thing we featured a while ago about the contents of people's bags! So much stuff all neatly laid out! So fun to look at! The 8-track arrangement is our fave. Wait... what's an 8-track? Is that like a floppy disk? >>

Just because it's on the web doesn't mean it's free...
Need a photo of a cat pouncing on apples for your Powerpoint presentation? Maybe some graphics of office workers? (Yeah, we know... weird combination) How many of you have just jumped on the Internet tubes and gone looking for an image to cut-n-paste into your document? Give this article a quick read and avoid generating tons of bad Karma for yourself! This newsletter can't be all fun-n-games! >>
We guarantee that you've never seen anything like this!
Remember that scene in "Jaws" with the da-duh, da-duh, daa-duh music and you just knew that something awful and scary was going to happen? Well this is kinda like that but with more kittens. Who knew apples could be so scary? >>
The Weekly What? is more fun when you share! It's easy, just click the "Forward email" link below... keep going... a little farther down... there it is! Send this newsletter to a friend! Don't worry, we won't hit them up for money.
