Dear Riverstone Community,

Please join me in celebrating the Class of 2016 at two special events that are unique Riverstone traditions and reflect the very personal nature of attending our school. You will alternately laugh and cry, and sometimes both at the same time, as you hear family members, classmates, or teachers share stories and well-wishes. Bring a tissue, bring a story, and most of all, bring your love and support for our seniors.

I also wanted to share the Class of 2016 College Acceptance list. Once again, one hundred percent of our seniors were accepted into colleges and universities. Since our first graduating class in 2005, our College Counselors have focused on helping students find the right fit for their next steps in their journeys. This year is no exception. For example, we have students exploring options for a gap year. We have students who will be attending large research universities, small liberal arts schools, music schools, and media schools. Biology, international relations, engineering, design, opera, and business are just a few of the areas our seniors plan to study.

Regardless of their plans, the members of the Class of 2016 are taking with them the skills, confidence, and lessons learned from their years at Riverstone. Our small classes and strong student-teacher relationships, in combination with the opportunities associated with our Five Pillars, are the key ingredients in helping students along their academic and personal explorations.

In a world where information lies at our fingertips, I am confident that our graduates are well-prepared for a future that requires research, creative problem-solving, collaboration, commitment, and at the very core, knowledge of self.

Looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2016,
null
