Greetings from Boise, Idaho!
I would like to introduce Riverstone International School to you and let you know that we are accepting applications for the Fall of 2016.
Here is a short overview of our school and who we are:
Riverstone International School is a co-educational, private, independent school in Boise, Idaho offering our day and residential students the academic prestige of the International Baccalaureate Programs and the personal attention of a supportive community school. Engaging classroom discussions continue when students explore Idaho's mountains and deserts with classmates and teachers. We offer concierge college counseling and athletic, musical, and academic extracurricular activities. We are often asked about Riverstone's IB Diploma Programme pass rate for our graduating seniors. The Riverstone average exceeds the national and worldwide average. Our pass rate is 83%, the international average is 78% and the U.S. average is 66%.
Small classes and strong relationships with teachers form the backbone of the Riverstone experience. Our students develop the mindset to confidently share their perspective, think critically, creatively solve problems, and collaborate. One hundred percent of graduates are accepted into 4-year colleges around the world.
Our newly-built residential facility is located in downtown Boise, the third most populous city in the US Pacific Northwest, with easy access to skiing, kayaking, and mountain biking. Our four-season climate and safe city provide many opportunities for students to recreate, shop, and explore all our beautiful city and state has to offer.
As you think about what will be important to your students, please keep in mind that Riverstone International School is one of only 7 residential schools that offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Programmes. One of the most important reasons that Riverstone graduates are successful in achieving the IB Diploma is the strong support and encouragement from our teachers.
Max R, Riverstone Class of 2015 who is now University of Tulsa, shares his thoughts about his two years at Riverstone during his graduation speech.
Please watch Max's video here. In the meantime, I look forward to keeping in touch and to answering any questions you may have about Riverstone International School. Please feel free to contact me at any time and to send any students you feel might benefit from a Riverstone education my way.
I hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely, Rachel Pusch Director of Enrollment Management and Administration (208) 424-5000 #3 |
