Greetings from the Auction Committee!
We are in the final stages of preparation for Saturday's auction!
To make the most of the evening, please read the information below about the schedule, buy it now option, photos, and more. Don't miss the information about our Fund A Need, Inspired by Science.
We hope to include a listing of the silent and live auction items in today's newsletter. You can use the list to do some advance recognizance and plan your bidding strategy!
Our students' amazing art pieces are on display in the atrium until Friday morning. These fabulous works of art were created by our students and are sure to be hot commodities during the live auction. Thank you to our art teachers, Jay Nelson, Christine Corbin, and Jim Harper, as well as Theresa Eckersell and Deborah Martell, for working with our students on creating these one of a kind items.
After you admire the art, please check out the displays for our live auction items and be sure to sign up for our community events and wine magnums with class art. The winners in the online auction will receive an email from Business Director Kevin Richmond. You can pay and pick up your items at the auction on Saturday or do so next Monday at school. Lastly, thank you to everyone who has been involved in the auction in any way. Whether you are an auction committee member, a sponsor, a donor, or a guest, we appreciate your part in making this another great Riverstone celebration! See you at the auction!

Fund A Need: Inspired by Science
This year's Fund A Need, Inspired by Science, will invest in our students by improving their experience with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs.
We need to ensure our classrooms and labs are equipped with the supplies, materials, and functionality to match the depth of our strong science curriculum. From preschool through high school, students can build upon their natural curiosity and expand their problem solving abilities as they investigate, research, and explore science more fully.
We would also like to integrate a nationally recognized STEM curriculum developed by Project Lead the Way (www.pltw.org) professional development and training, materials, and learning modules that will enhance our Units of Inquiry in the Elementary School and our Design Technology classes in the Middle School. Our goal is to integrate Project Lead the Way in Grades 5 and 6 next year, with the intent of expanding to Kindergarten through Grade 8. The curriculum is well-developed, consistent with Riverstone's inquiry based learning, and relevant. With this program, we will continue to build our students' STEM skills.
Together, let's continue to put our students first and invest in their journey.
Our goal for Fund A Need: $60,000
**If you are not attending the auction but would like to contribute to this special cause, please contact Kevin Richmond, Business Director.**
