 Hi All, As I have said many times, the empty feeling in the pit of my stomach happens after Winter Break. College applications have been submitted, our seniors are no longer chasing down Gretchen and me for essay advice, and I realize that another wonderful group of students is preparing to leave us. I know this yearly rite-of-passage is coming, but no matter... As we prepare for graduation, I think back and can see that every year, the kids in the Class of 2013 grew to be more kind, more thoughtful, and more comfortable with themselves. This class is made up of great leaders, strong community servants, some of our finest intellectuals in school history, individuals who are funny and engaging, and international students who embraced new adventures while adding global perspective to our school community. Our seniors are leaving us prepared for their futures and engaged in the changing world we live in. I am excited to be a part of the activities that we have planned and thank you for helping to make sure that these students will remember their graduation as a special time in their lives.
